Letters to the editor: Gaza

Who was it that said war was just? Each night I watch the horrors unfolding in front of my own eyes via the TV.

As a boy we would watch old movies from the Second World War, the horrors, the emptiness, thinking it would never happen again.

Then we had Srebrenica as the West stood by and saw thousands of Muslims being slaughtered, Then Darfur: because they were not white-skinned it didn’t really matter!

Now we have the Israeli killing machine who take joy in the mass murder of children and women, the innocent, the genocide of a nation. The ethnic cleansing of a proud people. The attempted annihilation of a culture.

All I can do is march and march. I am helpless. I want PEACE.

If you are who say you are then HELP THEM.

Please.
